Dolce belga a cialda, croccante fuori e morbido dentro, cotto su doppie piastre roventi che gli conferiscono il caratteristico aspetto a grata. Questa ricetta è abbastanza semplice e puoi personalizzarla aggiungendo ingredienti come frutta fresca, noci tritate o gocce di cioccolato all'impasto per creare dei waffle ancora più gustosi.
Ingredients
- Type 00 flour250 g
- Semi-skimmed milk250 ml
- Butter60 g
- Baking powder2 teaspoons
- Granulated sugar2 tablespoons
- Eggs2 u (120 g)
- Baking sodato taste
- Fine saltto taste
Procedure
0. In a large bowl, combine the flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, and sugar.
1. In another bowl, beat the eggs until frothy. Add the milk, melted butter, and vanilla extract (if using) and mix well.
2. Pour the liquid ingredients into the bowl with the dry ingredients and mix until smooth. Be sure not to overmix, as this will make the waffles too dense.
3. Heat the waffle iron according to the manufacturer's instructions. Once the iron is hot, pour a little batter onto it (the amount depends on the size of your iron, but usually about 1/2 cup for one waffle is enough) and cook the waffles until golden and crispy.
4. Remove the waffles from the griddle and serve them hot with your choice of toppings, such as maple syrup, fresh fruit, whipped cream, or melted chocolate. Continue cooking the remaining batter until you've used up all the batter. Enjoy your delicious, freshly made waffles!
