Prepara una crema di pomodori secchi intensa e vellutata, perfetta da abbinare al formaggio brie e pane croccante. Ricetta semplice, equilibrata e gourmet.
Ingredients
- Dried tomatoes120 g
- Pine nuts30 g
- Extra virgin olive oil2 tablespoons
- Dried oregano1 teaspoon
- Tomato paste1 tablespoon
- Honey1 teaspoon
- Balsamic vinegar1 tablespoon
- Fine saltto taste
- Black pepperto taste
- Garlicto taste
- Basilto taste
Procedure
0. Lightly toast the almonds (or pine nuts) in a pan for 1-2 minutes until golden. Add the sun-dried tomatoes, almonds, tomato paste (if using), vinegar, honey, garlic, basil, oregano, pepper, and 2 tablespoons of oil to a blender.
1. Blend until thick and smooth. Drizzle more oil if you want a smoother or tapenade-like consistency. Taste and adjust the salt and acidity. The flavor should be intense yet balanced, to contrast the creaminess of the brie.
2. 🧀 How to serve it: Spread the cream on toasted rustic bread and top with a slice of room-temperature brie. Also ideal for bruschetta, crostini, or as a base for gourmet canapés.
3. 🫙 Storage: It can be stored in the refrigerator for 5–6 days in an airtight jar, covered with a drizzle of oil.
