- Chicken breast350 g
- Green beans350 g
- Extra virgin olive oil2 tablespoons
- Garlic1 clove
- Lemon1 u (85 g)
- Chili pepperto taste

- Fine saltto taste
- Turmericto taste
Procedure
0. Chicken Marinade: • In a bowl, combine: lemon juice, grated zest, turmeric, cumin, parsley, salt, pepper, oil, and, if desired, a crushed garlic clove. • Cut the chicken into strips or bite-sized pieces and place in the marinade. Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes (preferably 1 hour if you have time).
1. Blanch the green beans: • Trim the ends of the green beans. • Blanch them in salted water for 6-7 minutes (they should remain slightly crunchy). • Drain them and immerse them in cold water to stop the cooking and keep them green.
2. Cooking the chicken: • Heat a nonstick pan with a drizzle of extra virgin olive oil. • Drain the chicken slightly from the marinade (not completely; the marinade will add flavor) and sauté over medium-high heat for about 5-6 minutes, until golden brown on the outside and cooked through. • At the end of cooking, you can add a little more fresh parsley and a squeeze of lemon if you like.
3. In the same pan, after removing the chicken, heat the oil with the crushed garlic clove and chili pepper (fresh, sliced, or crushed). When the garlic is golden, add the well-drained green beans. Sauté for 3-4 minutes, seasoning with salt.
4. Serve the chicken piping hot alongside the spicy green beans.
