L'uovo alla coque รจ un classico piatto semplice, ma delizioso.
Ingredients
- Eggs1 u (60 g)
- Black pepperto taste
- Fine saltto taste
Procedure
0. Fill a saucepan with enough water to completely cover the egg. Bring the water to a boil.
1. Once the water is boiling, reduce the heat to medium-low and use a spoon to gently place the egg into the boiling water. Set the timer for 3-4 minutes for a soft-boiled egg with the yolk still runny. If you prefer a firmer yolk, you can leave it for 5-6 minutes.
2. While the egg is cooking, prepare an egg cup or small plate. You can also cut the top off the egg for easier eating.
3. When the timer rings, use a spoon to remove the egg from the boiling water and place it in the egg cup.
4. Add a pinch of salt and pepper, if desired. Serve immediately: Soft-boiled eggs are best when eaten right away, while they are still warm.
5. Tips: Make sure the egg is at room temperature before cooking to avoid cracking when you put it in boiling water. You can use a special spoon to gently crack the top of the cooked egg and enjoy the creamy yolk.
