Ingredients
- Bell pepper1 u (220 g)
- Dried oreganoto taste
- Fine saltto taste
- Extra virgin olive oilto taste
Procedure
0. Wash the peppers, dry them, and cut them in half lengthwise (or into 4 pieces if they are very large). Remove the seeds and internal ribs.
1. Place the peppers in the air fryer basket, skin-side up. Cook at 220°C for 20 minutes: the skin should be dark and slightly charred.
2. Transfer the cooked peppers to a plate or container, cover with a lid or plastic wrap, and let them cool for at least 10–15 minutes. This helps the skins peel off easily.
3. Once cool, remove the burnt skin with your hands or a knife. Cut the peppers into strips and season with extra virgin olive oil, salt, and oregano to taste.
