Prepara una Red Velvet da coppia, soffice torta al cioccolato rosso con crema al formaggio, perfetta per condividere un momento dolce e romantico in due.
Ingredients
- Type 00 flour200 g
- Granulated sugar200 g
- Buttermilk160 ml
- Butter75 g
- Unsweetened cocoa powder10 g
- Apple cider vinegar5 ml
- Eggs1 u (60 g)
- Baking soda1 teaspoon
- Fine saltto taste
- Vanilla essenceto taste
- Food coloringto taste
Procedure
0. Preheat the oven to 175°C and butter and flour a 15cm round cake tin.
1. In a bowl, combine the flour, baking soda, salt, and cocoa. In another bowl, beat the butter and sugar until fluffy. Add the eggs, one at a time, and then the vanilla.
2. Add half the buttermilk and then half the flour mixture to the butter mixture, mixing well after each addition. Add the red food coloring. Stir in the remaining buttermilk and flour.
3. Finally, mix the vinegar with the baking soda and incorporate it into the mixture.
4. Pour the batter into the prepared pan and bake for about 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
5. Prepare the frosting following the directions above, then use it to fill and cover the cake once it has cooled.
