  • 1. If necessary, adjust the salt and add more oil to achieve the desired consistency.
  • 2. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the pasta and cook according to the package instructions until al dente. Drain the pasta, reserving a cup of the cooking water.
  • 3. Return the drained pasta to the pot. Add the arugula pesto and stir well to combine. If the pesto is too thick, add a little of the reserved cooking water to make it creamier.
  • 4. Serve the pasta immediately, with an additional sprinkling of Parmesan cheese and freshly ground black pepper, if desired.
