Questi carciofi al tegame (anche se io ho usato una pentola) sono veramente semplici da preparare e trovo che valorizzino il loro sapore. Ogni volta mi duole dover buttar via praticamente metà carciofo e trovo che con questo metodo sia possibile gustarli al meglio! #carciofi #nospreco

  • 0. Remove the stems from the artichokes and proceed to wash and rinse them in water. Now comes the fun part. On a cutting board, repeatedly tap the artichokes, base-side up. This will help them expand, promoting cooking.
  • 1. In a pan, add a generous drizzle of oil and add the artichokes. Season with salt, pepper, and parsley, making sure to reach the insides. Add two cloves of garlic if desired. Place over medium heat and begin to brown. After five minutes, add half a glass of water and continue cooking over low heat for about half an hour. Don't forget to add a little more water if it starts to burn.
  • 2. Once cooked, serve the artichoke as a side dish or main course. Remove the outer leaves, eating only the base until you reach the heart of the flower. The creamiest part can also be spread on bread!
