  • 3. Use a non-dairy milk bag, cheesecloth, or a fine-mesh strainer to strain the mixture. Slowly pour the oat milk through the strainer into a large bowl, pressing firmly to extract as much liquid as possible.
  • 4. Transfer the strained oat milk to a bottle or airtight container. Store in the refrigerator and consume within 3-5 days. Shake well before each use, as oat milk tends to separate.
  • 5. For a creamier oat milk, you can add a small amount of vegetable oil, such as coconut oil or sunflower oil. If the milk is too thick, you can add a little more water and mix well. The remaining oat residue after straining can be used in other recipes, such as smoothies, cookies, or bread.
