Ingredients
- Spreadable cheese250 g
- Granulated sugar160 g
- Butter100 g
- Type 00 flour50 g
- Eggs5 u (300 g)
- Semi-skimmed milk1 glass
Procedure
0. Fill a large baking pan with water and place it in the oven. Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F) so the water reaches the ideal temperature for bain-marie cooking. Separate the egg whites from the yolks. Beat the egg whites, gradually adding 80g of sugar. Pour the cream cheese into a bowl.
1. Mix the cheese and the remaining sugar. Gradually pour in the room temperature milk and continue mixing. Once the milk is absorbed, add the softened butter. Add the egg yolks and mix. Add the egg whites. Mix gently. Butter the baking dish and pour in the batter.
2. Place the baking dish on the baking sheet with the water mentioned in the first step. Bake at 189°C (350°F) for 20 minutes. Reduce the temperature to 160°C (320°F) and bake for 70 minutes.
