Io la preferisco alla frutta, ma in ogni caso la base di pasta frolla si abbina benissimo anche al cioccolato o altri ripieni, come la ricotta!

  • 0. Cut the cold butter into cubes and mix it with a ladle together with the sugar, until the mixture is light and smooth.
  • 1. Add the eggs (if you prefer a crumbly pastry, add a whole egg and a yolk) and mix everything together.
  • 2. Add the sifted flour and yeast and knead the mixture, also using your hands.
  • 3. Leave the pastry to rest in the refrigerator (or even in the freezer on hot days!) for at least 30 minutes.
  • 4. Roll out 2/3 of the pastry with a rolling pin, then place it on the baking tray and prick the pastry with a fork.
  • 5. Spread your desired amount of jam (a lot!) and roll out the remaining dough, then cut out strips to decorate the tart. Alternatively, you can use cookie cutters!
