Queste pannocchie grigliate sono prima bollite per ottenere chicchi più teneri, poi grigliate per un sapore affumicato e arricchite con una glassa piccante che bilancia dolcezza e spezie. Perfette come contorno o snack estivo, ogni morso offre una combinazione di morbidezza e croccantezza, con la glassa che si caramella perfettamente sulla griglia.

  • 0. Bring a large pot of water to a boil. Add a pinch of salt and the corn cobs. Boil for 5 minutes to soften them slightly.
  • 1. After boiling, drain them well and brush them with melted butter on all sides.
  • 2. In a bowl, combine the smoked paprika, chili powder, brown sugar, lime juice, and BBQ sauce (if using). Season with salt and pepper.
  • 3. Place the corn on a preheated grill (medium-high heat) or grill pan. Turn the corn every 2-3 minutes until lightly charred, about 6-8 minutes.
  • 4. When the corn is almost done, brush it with the spicy glaze. Let it caramelize for another 2-3 minutes.
  • 5. Remove the corn from the grill, brush with more glaze if you'd like more intensity, and garnish with chives or chopped cilantro. Serve immediately with a lime wedge on the side.
