  • 3. Place the sliced red onions into the sterilized jar, squeezing them lightly. Pour the hot marinade over the onions, making sure they are completely covered.
  • 4. Let cool to room temperature with the jar open. Once cooled, seal tightly and refrigerate. They're ready after 1 hour, but are best after 24 hours.
