Il gingerbread fatto in casa, con zenzero fresco, cannella e spezie aromatiche. Una bontà croccante e profumata che scalda le giornate invernali, ideale per le feste e momenti di dolcezza.
Ingredients
- Type 0 flour450 g
- Semi-skimmed milk300 ml
- Brown sugar175 g
- Molasses175 g
- Maple syrup175 g
- Butter175 g
- Baking powder8 g
- Baking soda2 g
- Eggs1 u (60 g)
- Gingerto taste
Procedure
0. Start by buttering a square or rectangular baking pan at least 5 cm thick. Then, preheat the oven to 160°C.
1. In a bowl, combine all the dry ingredients. In a separate bowl, add the butter, sugar, molasses, and syrup. Stir vigorously to incorporate the ingredients. Let cool for a few minutes.
2. Combine the beaten egg and milk with the molasses mixture. Add all the liquid ingredients to the flour mixture and mix vigorously with a wooden spoon or spatula until the mixture is smooth.
3. Pour the batter into the pan and bake in the center of the oven for 1.5 hours. To check if it's cooked through, insert a toothpick. Remove from the oven and let cool before cutting.
