Il pane naan all'aglio è ideale da servire caldo, accompagnato da piatti di curry, chutney o anche da solo come spuntino. Può essere conservato per un paio di giorni, ma è sempre meglio consumarlo appena preparato per apprezzarne appieno la morbidezza e il sapore.

  • 0. In a bowl, dissolve the yeast and sugar in the warm water and let it sit for about 10 minutes until foamy. Add the flour, salt, and yogurt, then knead until the dough is smooth and homogeneous.
  • 1. Cover the dough and let it rise in a warm place for about 1 hour or until doubled in volume.
  • 2. Divide the risen dough into 4-6 balls. Roll out each ball with a rolling pin until thin. Cook each naan in a very hot nonstick pan or on a grill for about 2-3 minutes per side, until golden brown.
  • 3. In a small bowl, combine the melted butter and minced garlic. Once cooked, brush each naan with the butter and garlic mixture. For an extra touch, sprinkle with chopped parsley or cilantro.
