Ingredients
- Puffed Quinoa100 g
- Peanut butter80 g
- Maple syrup60 g
- Pumpkin seeds50 g
- Raisins30 g
- Dark chocolate30 g
- Chia seeds5 g
- Flaxseeds5 g
- Vanilla extractto taste
Procedure
0. In a large bowl, combine the puffed quinoa, pumpkin seeds, dried fruit, flaxseeds (if using), and chocolate chips.
1. In a saucepan over low heat, melt the peanut butter and maple syrup with a pinch of salt and vanilla until creamy.
2. Pour the hot mixture into the dry ingredients and stir vigorously until well combined. If it cools too much, the chocolate chips will remain intact (if you want them to melt a little, pour it in immediately).
3. Spread the mixture on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper (20x20 cm), pressing firmly. Refrigerate for at least 1 hour.
4. Use a sharp knife to obtain compact and uniform bars.
5. ℹ️ Extra Tips • You can add a drizzle of melted chocolate underneath or on top before cooling. • They're also great with flaked almonds, sunflower seeds, or grated orange zest. • If you want to make them more protein-rich, add 1-2 tablespoons of neutral or vanilla protein powder.
