La fajita è un piatto tipico della cucina messicana. Si tratta di piccoli bocconcini di carne (petto di pollo o carne di manzo, oppure entrambe) con peperone, cipolla, spezie, peperoncino piccante, paprica, e origano.
Ingredients
- Bell pepper600 g
- Chicken breast500 g
- Corn tortillas400 g
- Cluster tomato150 g
- Spring onion50 g
- Lime1 u (50 g)
- Avocado1 u (300 g)
- Black pepperto taste
- Cuminto taste
- Extra virgin olive oilto taste
- Fine saltto taste
- Sweet paprikato taste
Procedure
0. In a bowl, mix the garlic, cumin, pepper, paprika, and salt until smooth. Add a drizzle of oil. Season the chicken breast with the prepared spice mix and brown over medium heat, turning to cook thoroughly on all sides.
1. Slice the peppers and onion, then sauté everything for 5 minutes in the same pan as the chicken. Slice the chicken, add it to the pan, and season with the vegetables.
2. Make the avocado salsa by blending the pulp of an avocado with a little finely chopped onion, chopped tomato, salt, and the juice of a lime.
3. Toast the tortillas in a pan and then fill them.
