  • 0. To make the cheese naan, make a well in the flour and in the center, add a pinch of salt, oil, and yogurt. Gradually add the water and dissolved yeast, kneading until the dough is smooth and homogeneous.
  • 1. Let it rise for about 1.5 hours. Divide the dough into 8 equal balls and roll them out on a pastry board, forming discs about 14-15 centimeters in diameter, using a rolling pin. The discs should be a few millimeters thick.
  • 2. Spread a spoonful of cream cheese in the center of each pastry circle, then fold the edges of the circle inward, sealing them well. Flatten each filled circle slightly with your fingers, taking care not to let the cheese come out.
  • 3. Heat a nonstick pan with a drizzle of oil and cook the naan for about 2 minutes per side, covering the pan with a lid to help them rise. The cheese naan should be puffed up and golden brown and should be served piping hot.
