- Yellow potatoes200 g
- Whole Greek yogurt125 undefined
- Breadcrumbs16 g
- Extra virgin olive oil15 ml
- Chickpea flour10 g
- Cumin5 g
- Sweet paprika5 g
- Garlic1 clove
- Limeto taste
- Black pepperto taste
- Smoked paprikato taste

Procedure
0. Mash the black beans and boiled potato in a large bowl until they have a rustic but well-combined consistency. Add the onion, garlic, chickpea flour, breadcrumbs, cumin, paprika, parsley, salt, and pepper. Mix well with your hands or a fork. If the mixture is too soft, add a little more breadcrumbs.
1. Take small portions of the dough and shape them into round balls. Roll them in breadcrumbs until evenly coated. Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to firm up.
2. In a nonstick pan, heat a drizzle of extra virgin olive oil. Cook the meatballs for 4-5 minutes per side until golden brown. Alternatively, cook them in an air fryer at 200°C for 15-18 minutes, flipping them halfway through.
3. In a small bowl, combine the yogurt, lime juice, lime zest, paprika, and a drizzle of extra virgin olive oil. Season with salt and refrigerate until ready to serve.
4. 💡 Helpful Tips: You can replace the black beans with cannellini or borlotti beans for a milder version. Add a pinch of chili pepper for a spicy note. Serve them in a burger bun with salad and avocado. If you want a 100% vegan version, choose a plant-based yogurt for the sauce.
