Ingredients
- Cow ricotta200 g
- Walnuts50 g
- Peaches4 u (600 g)
- Honey2 tablespoons
- Dark chocolateto taste
- Ground cinnamonto taste
Procedure
0. Preheat the oven to 180°C. Wash and dry the peaches thoroughly, then cut them in half and remove the pits. Arrange the peaches cut-side up on a baking sheet.
1. In a bowl, combine the ricotta with the honey, sugar (if using), vanilla extract, or lemon zest. Mix well until smooth. If you'd like to make a chocolate variation, you can add a little hazelnut spread or melted chocolate to the ricotta, stirring lightly to create chocolate streaks.
2. Using a spoon, fill each peach half with the prepared ricotta cream. Add a sprinkle of cinnamon (if desired) and, if desired, a small amount of hazelnut or chocolate spread on top of the ricotta for decoration.
3. Bake the stuffed peaches for about 15-20 minutes, or until the peaches are soft and the ricotta is lightly golden.
4. Once baked, let the peaches cool slightly and then garnish with a sprinkling of chopped walnuts. Drizzle each peach with honey for extra sweetness.
5. Serve the peaches warm, perhaps accompanied by a cup of tea or coffee, as shown in the image.
