Ingredients
- Type 00 flour250 g
- Margarine100 g
- Brown sugar100 g
- Granulated sugar80 g
- Granny Smith apples4 u (800 g)
- Ground cinnamon1 teaspoon
- Lemon1 u (85 g)
- Fine saltto taste
Procedure
0. In a bowl, combine the diced apples with the brown sugar, cinnamon, lemon juice, and cornstarch (if using). Let sit for about 10-15 minutes to allow the apples to absorb the flavors.
1. In another bowl, combine the 00 flour, granulated sugar, and salt. Add the cold vegetable butter and, using your fingers or a fork, work the mixture until it forms a crumbly, lumpy consistency.

2. Preheat the oven to 180°C. In a baking dish, spread the apple mixture evenly over the bottom. Sprinkle the crumble mixture over the apples, covering them completely.

3. Bake in a preheated oven for about 30-35 minutes, or until the crumble is golden and the apples are tender.
