  • 1. Add the chicken wings to the bowl and massage the seasoning well into all of the wings, making sure they are well coated.
  • 2. Preheat the air fryer to 200°C for about 5 minutes.
  • 3. Arrange the chicken wings in the air fryer basket in a single layer, trying not to overlap them to ensure even cooking. Cook the wings at 200°C for 25-30 minutes, flipping them halfway through (around 12-15 minutes). The wings should be golden brown and crispy.
  • 4. Once the wings are cooked and crispy, remove them from the fryer and place them in a clean bowl. Pour the BBQ sauce over the wings and toss gently to coat them evenly.
  • 5. Return the glazed wings to the air fryer and cook them at 180°C for another 5 minutes. This will allow the BBQ sauce to caramelize slightly, making them even tastier.
  • 6. Serve the wings hot, perhaps with a side of fresh vegetables or a good potato salad.
  • 7. If you want a stickier BBQ sauce, you can repeat the glaze and caramelization step. For an even more intense flavor, you can marinate the wings in the spices for a few hours (or overnight) before cooking.
